The Care Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. We do this as we strive to provide:

  • Prayer for specific needs
  • Encouragement through cards, visits, phone calls
  • Comfort through fellowship & friendship
  • Transportation to church or doctor appointments
  • An occasional meal delivery, cookies, bread…just because
  • One-on-one support by encouragers and support people
  • Recognition of our military personnel and veterans
  • Celebration of brides and new moms through showers

The Care Ministry Team supports the work of the:

  • Pastors & Staff
  • Visitation Teams
  • Church Leaders

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

How does Edinbrook's Care Ministry Work

We are called to model the love of Christ in all aspects of our lives including family, work, and church ministries. Our church family has always shown great compassion and given comfort, support, and love to those who need this type of help. Our Care Coordinator matches an opportunity to serve with an interested Care giver’s skills, time, and experience in helping others. In an effort to continue giving this care to our growing congregation, we are looking for individuals who will give one or more hours per month to support our church family in ways that fit your gifts, interests, and schedule. Is God calling YOU to become part of this important Care Ministry?
