Our Mission

To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Our desire at Edinbrook is to help people overflow with a true and lasting joy. We believe that a deep, satisfying, inner joy is available to everyone who lives in an intimate, loving, worshipful relationship with God. Psalm 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good!” Religion tends to get in the way of this relationship, placing the focus on the acts we need to do in order to get right with God. This leads to pride, exhaustion, and defeat. The Bible teaches that God loves us and has already done everything necessary to reconcile us to Himself through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:4 says, “Because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Jesus Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” According to the Bible, all we need to do is turn from trying to save ourselves (repentance) and learn to rest in the person and work of Jesus Christ, making Jesus the Lord and Savior of our lives.

Do we sit around and do nothing? No! Instead, the Holy Spirit (John 14:15-17) compels and enables us to live lives that please God with good works out of gratitude for who He is and what He has done for us. In other words, we desire to live lives of worship (Romans 12:2), loving God with all of our heart, soul, and mind; thereby loving our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40). Because of what God has done for us, we want others to experience what we have experienced! We want to move others beyond religion into a meaningful relationship with God.

Our Vision

To become a highly valued presence in our community as we intentionally practice Jesus-style love through proclamation and demonstration.

At Edinbrook, we take Jesus’ words very seriously: “You are the salt of the earth.” We desire to season our world in a positive way, impacting our community and world as we reach beyond our immediate congregation. We have something worth sharing ~ we are committed to do that with all our strength.
