Have you ever had your good intentions misunderstood? Maybe you tried to help a coworker, bless a friend, or offer grace to someone who hurt you—only to be met with suspicion, criticism, or rejection. Few things sting more than seeing kindness twisted into something it was never meant to be. In 2 Samuel 10, David experienced this very thing. An act of kindness which should have brought peace instead led to humiliation, conflict, and war.
