After Absalom stages a coup, David is forced to flee Jerusalem. We can hardly fathom the sense of defeat David must have experienced. In life, we may often feel as if we have lost and that all hope is gone. Yet, with God’s help, hope is always within reach! God is still on His throne and is ready to do miracles on behalf of His people. But, to witness God’s movement in our lives, we must align our actions with His guidance.
