When David brought the ark of God to Jerusalem, he had a heartfelt desire to build a temple where the ark could dwell. It seemed natural to think that God would bless such a noble endeavor, but God had a different plan in mind. This situation can resonate with many of us; we often find ourselves longing for good things, praying earnestly and following the teachings of the Bible. But sometimes, despite our hopes, God says no. It can be incredibly disheartening when our prayers go unanswered, and it's easy for doubt and discouragement to creep in. In this message, we will gently explore how to process these moments of unanswered prayers and discover the light of hope that can lead us to a brighter future, even when life takes unexpected turns. The reality is that many of us neglect to do one key thing that would bring about a better tomorrow. We're in this together, and there’s a way forward that is better than we think.
