Many people, including people in the church, try to get to God their own way, through their own good works. Try to be a good citizen, not break any major laws, look like a good Christian…at least in front of others. But Jesus challenges that kind of thinking. Jesus knows that such thinking won’t bring us peace in the midst of all the darkness pressing in on us. If we want to experience the blessings of the kingdom, we’ve got to approach it Jesus’ way. In this message, we will discuss what God demands from us and how it is the key to true peace in a broken world. It’s not as hard as you might think.
