Warfare in the ancient world was brutal and raw. We can be grateful that today, we live in a society that does not have to fear being invaded or enslaved. But make no mistake, we are still called to do battle. Battle against a spiritual enemy that does seek to invade our minds, our hearts, and our homes. We can learn from David’s mighty men some strategies and skills necessary to claim lost ground and push back the enemy.
