Even when we call out to God for help, we can still be tempted to believe we saved ourselves when things work out. That’s why God sometimes acts in ways that make it very clear He alone deserves the credit.

Among the many promises God gives to those who trust Him is the one in this week’s verse—He commands His angels to watch over us.

This week’s verse comes from a prayer Isaiah prayed to God, asking Him to show mercy. Although he was praying for the people of Judah, this prayer still speaks to all of God’s people. Let it speak to you today.
